Trafexia provides a built-in Network Bandwidth & Latency Simulator to test how mobile applications perform under poor, unstable, or slow cellular network conditions.

Preset Network Profiles

• Slow 2G / EDGE: 250 kbps download / 50 kbps upload, 300ms RTT latency.
• Fast 3G: 1.6 Mbps download / 750 kbps upload, 100ms RTT latency.
• 4G / LTE: 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload, 20ms RTT latency.
• Custom Profile: Manually set exact Download/Upload bandwidth limits in kbps and artificial delay in milliseconds.

How to Enable Network Throttling

1. Open Trafexia Desktop.
2. Click the Throttling status badge in the top status bar.
3. Select your desired network profile (e.g. Slow 3G).
4. Toggle Enable Throttling.

All mobile HTTP/HTTPS requests intercepted by Trafexia will immediately simulate the configured bandwidth constraints and artificial network delays.
